Playground
Chat live with any AI engine, see instantly whether it mentions your brand, and turn any question that matters into a tracked prompt.
Updated:
The Playground is the fastest way to answer โwhat does ChatGPT actually say about us right nowโ. You type a question, pick an engine, and get the live answer with your brand, your competitors and the cited sources marked up on top of it.
How it works
- Pick an engine from the selector. Engines your plan does not include are shown with a Locked badge.
- On Pro and above, pick a specific model for that engine. Free and Starter always use the engineโs default.
- Type a question a customer might ask and send it.
You get the answer plus three things underneath: whether your brand was mentioned and at what position, which competitors came up, and which sources were cited.
Suggested prompts
The Prompts button in the composer opens three lists: your tracked prompts, your paused prompts, and suggestions built around your brand and industry, for example โHow does Acme compare to its top competitors?โ or โList the top 5 project management platforms in 2026โ. They are a good starting point when you are not sure what to ask.
Turning a chat into tracking
Every prompt you send in the Playground is saved to your Prompts library as paused, so nothing is lost. Hit Track on a message to start polling it on your normal schedule. If you are already at your planโs tracked-prompt limit, the toggle tells you so rather than silently failing.
This is the intended workflow: explore freely, track only the questions that turned out to matter.
Chats
Conversations are kept in the sidebar. You can rename them, delete them, or start a new one. Useful when you are working through one topic at a time, for example everything about pricing comparisons in one chat.
Limits
Playground messages are capped per day: 10 on the free trial, 30 on Starter, 60 on Pro, 100 on Team. The counter sits next to the composer and resets at midnight UTC. There is also a short cooldown between consecutive messages.
Competitors you discover here are added to your competitor data automatically, which is why a brand new name sometimes shows a short โadding to your competitors dataโ state.
